Everglades Flow Maps

This project entailed creating a highly detailed map of South Florida's Everglades area, then animating each to show the flow of water from north to south, during pre-industrial times (Historic), Current, and with future Restoration projects included. They were then set up as individual animated maps, one fading into another, and all three side-by-side, to give the client maximum flexibility for different ways in presenting them. Static print versions and for posting on the Web were provided as well. The maps were created using Adobe Illustrator and the animation with After Effects.
